Registration
New Registration Process & Key Dates
This year parents/guardians of VPK students will register their child through the Focus Parent Portal.
Opens: January 7
Closes: March 2
During the online process you will need to upload:
- Two proofs of residence (POR)
- Current immunization record
- Physical examination
- Signed 2026–27 VPK Certificate of Eligibility
Families must submit a School Choice form by March 2 to select the PK site of choice.
Once a school is offered, families must accept their school assignment in Focus by March 27.
Staff priority placement decisions will be made by March 13
Optional Developmental Screening
If you have concerns about your child’s development or readiness, you may schedule an optional screening. Screenings are available Monday through Friday, and the PK Office will coordinate the appointment for you.
Please note: screenings are a support for families and are not required for PK placement.
